Hair Extension Client Waiver and Policy
Thank you for choosing Top Knotch Salon for your hair extension journey. Our goal is to provide you with a beautiful, long-lasting result and an exceptional experience. To ensure clarity and the best possible care for your extensions, please review the following policy.
1. Payment Policy:
To secure your hair extension installment appointment, a 50% deposit of your total hair extension investment is required at the time of consultation. The remaining 50% balance, including any additional services applied, is due on the day of your extension installation.
2. Home Care Products:
As part of your investment, home care products selected by your professional stylist are included at a promotional cost. These products are carefully chosen to protect the quality and longevity of both your natural hair and extensions, and ensure proper maintenance. The use of these products is essential to the health and durability of your extensions.
3. Education & Aftercare:
Your stylist will provide you with all the necessary knowledge to maintain your hair extensions properly during your consultation. This will include tips on how to care for your extensions, styling techniques, and recommended products. After your extension installation, you will receive a comprehensive recap of aftercare instructions to ensure the best possible results.
4. Maintenance & Responsibility:
Hair extensions are considered a higher-maintenance style and will require a more extensive at-home care routine. Failure to follow proper care guidelines can result in reduced longevity and potential damage to both your natural hair and extensions. Top Knotch Salon and your chosen stylist are not responsible for any damage or removals not performed by your professional.
5. Post-Install Service:
We offer a five-day grace period following your extension installation for any issues you may encounter. Should you require adjustments or fixes after this period, a fee will be applied.
6. Hair Purchase & Return Policy:
At Top Knotch Salon, we work with a variety of extension companies to offer a range of options suited to your needs. Please be aware that all hair ordered is final sale, unless the hair is damaged or the wrong length/tone is provided by the manufacturer. We recommend booking your color service prior to ordering extensions to ensure your stylist can match the tone/length to your desired end goal.
7. Coloring Extensions:
Coloring extensions can be unpredictable and may not always achieve the same results as coloring natural hair. Should you request a color service for your extensions, an additional cost will be applied. We advise scheduling this service before ordering your extensions to allow your stylist to ensure the color matches your vision.
8. Waiver & Agreement:
All clients receiving hair extensions must complete a client request form and sign an information acknowledgment waiver, agreeing to all the terms outlined in this policy.
